This 4-part series started so well and for the first 3 episodes was really holding my attention and interest. Sadly, the last episode went pretty far off the rails and lost the plot to an unfortunate extent. I understand that Ally was supposed to be losing it under the pressure etc but her actions and decisions got a bit ridiculous, to me. Ok, the whole premise was out there to begin with but credibility took quite the nose-dive in the last episode.
Performances were very good all round, and it was particularly great to watch a show set in Edinburgh and spot a lot of familiar places used as locations.
Also found it quite strange that they were allowed to end the show with Ally still in place as an imposter doctor. I somehow expected the show to 'do the right thing' and have her punished in some way.
73/100.
