Just found this film on Amazon Prime, and as I haven't yet got around to cancelling it, I thought I'd give it a shot, not for any particular reason merely idle curiosity.
One thing I have long considered about the yanks is that it appears they have an abiding penchant for corn, what I mean by that is the seemingly zillions of frankly corny films, and television shows that proliferate from their shores.
For me this movie is pure Yankee Doodle freshly buttered Corn on the Cob, Morgan Freeman IS Morgan Freeman as he perennially remains ad-infinitum, such that I imagine if I were bump into him anywhere, he would be as I see him in everything he does.
The remains cast slot in with him and help provide the butter and American relish, I think that's the stuff I've seen spread as a sort of side dish that's bright and colourful, but to my rather bland British taste buds, appears unappetising so I'd give it a miss.
