This was quite hated back then in the day, or I am wrong? (Just see the reviews written in the time when this was still on air)
Yet many of us used to watch it religiously, even if the sole reason was to complain about how cheesy and cliched it was.
Yet, now that I have rewatched many episodes online, I have started to see it with different eyes. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I think this is one of the most underrated Nick shows. Way overhated, far more than many other way worse shows (Such as the garbage sitcoms by Dan Schneider, which started to plague Nickelodeon during the same decade this was released)
I kinda wish Rugrats had another spin-off, following the main characters as adults, having their own babies. Some kind of "Next-generation" thing would have been preferable to the 3D remake we got in the year 2021.
