This is a Malayalam language film starring Mohanlal and Heera Rajagopal.
Although very made and well performed with well developed characters, the film clearly suffered because the theme was a remake of The Fugitive which itself was remade as Criminal in Bharat in multiple languages.
The combination of talented stars Mohanlal, Heera Rajagopal and Lalu Alex was excellent and the film really breezes through, drama and romance interspersed with funny moments.
Even if you know the story, it's worth a watch for them.
