To help promote the Pawnee Zoo, Leslie arranges a couple events including a cute penguin marriage. The penguins have sex in front of all the kids and adults. One kid asks if they are making babies. One adult states the penguins are actually male. This causes some outrage that Leslie was making a stance on gay marriage as a public servant. Mark is cute in this episode - he asks Ann on a date as he was admitted to her hospital when he hit his head. Leslie is invited to a gay bar where she is celebrated. Ann shows up looking cute thinking it was a medical emergency. Leslie in the end has the penguin transferred to Iowa where gay marriage is legal. She has the penguins in the back with seatbelts on. She sees a Six Flags and says she should put them on a water slide - they might die - but it would be so cute!
