Sometimes I wish people could view this series without Game of Thrones as a backdrop. People give it terrible ratings because it isn't GOT. This episode with all the incredibly unjust connecting of houses is wonderfully presented. We have suspense, villainy, honor, and deception. No, it is not the red wedding, nor should it be. It is a gathering of forces who are now bringing their own egos and ambitions to the fore. The marriage is going to be a sham, but it probably parallels royal weddings that went on throughout Europe in past centuries. The sexuality of the two young men is bound to be a problem. Of course, one of them couldn't keep his mouth shut or back off. Patience is a virtue, but it is not exhibited here. Outstanding hour of television.
