This was a truly awful movie and one that was difficult to watch due to the style. I've heard people raving about the visuals but they did nothing for me and look like something a student might have produced for an art project. Worse, they mean nothing either. The story is about a woman recovering from surgery in Scotland and there's some very vague backdrop about witchcraft, but most of it is just tedious in the extreme and scenes like the carer going on a drug trip smack of padding. A pity to see Alice Krige reduced to this, alongside an unrecognisable Rupert Everett and a pointless Malcolm McDowell.
