'"Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is an animated TV movie that first aired on NBC in December 1970. This is one of several Christmas holidays specials made by Rankin-Bass Productions. The company specialized in stop-animation using clay figures filmed many times with slight adjustments between each shot.
