Ah, internet. "horror movie stuck in Sargasso sea tentacle monster plant things" for search terms and BOOM. Faster than I could verbally ask my brothers (assuming I dared risk triggering THEIR childhood trauma).
So review based on the following 55 years of geniune delicious shudder if anything reminded me of this obscure flick that nonetheless made such a powerful mark. (600 characters yet?) ... yep. Likely to fall into the temptation of seeing it as an adult and, like another fundamental, DeMille-level, nightmare-triggering masterpiece (to a kid) like The Green Slime, discover it miiiight not have the same impact.
