With John Frankenheimer as a director, Elmore Leonard as a co-writer, and Roy Scheider + Ann-Margaret as its two lead stars, this should be way better. I blame Cannon, as producers. Their movies tend to suck, to be honest, and while I'm not really a prude, there's something about the sleaziness in their movies that always makes me feel uncomfortable. If there's anyone to blame for this movie really not working, it's them.
I was going to give this a 5/10, but am deducting another point because at 1:43:20, one character backs into the camera, the camera shakes, and it was left in the movie. If the people making it didn't care, why should I?
