Cute movie. Interesting idea. When he finds out his Mom is Francis, that is it? She isn't coming back? She is running away to write her book which is about the son she gave up. That has impacted her on such a deep level that she decides she will...not reveal to him directly. She will not develop a relationship with him even though he so badly wants one and that is that???
She will simply run off to write her book.... and we are supposed to think how sweet that was??? Silly, silly, silly....this is a silly movie and a very lazy and disappointing product from a team who have previously provided some very touching movies. Who cares about the other stories? The only one that we are engrossed in is the pursuit of the identity of Jack's mother? No closure provided. Very unsatisfactory and very disappointing.
