It is interesting to watch this movie in the social media era, where there are polarizing views on 'for' and 'against' Gandhi. The plot revolves around Munna Bhai trying to follow Gandhianism (or) the non-violence way in current times and the consequences that follows.
The screenplay is brilliant and there are enough ebbs and flows to keep the viewers invested. Rajkumar Hirani has this knack of using a recall element - be it Hugs in Munna Bhai, Get well soon in Lage Raho, All is well in 3 idiots, wrong number in PK - so well in all his movies for comedy and emotional content.
