Ann was a fun and interesting character as a one off, but I certainly didn't expect, or really want her back for a repeat appearance.
That is what we get here though, and surprise surprise, the novelty factor wears off very quickly.
There is very little new done with the character here, and while it's passable and perfectly entertaining enough, we've seen it all before.
The Maris ongoing plot is fine, it's nice to see them trying a story arc (Series Nine didn't bother with such things), but even that feels like it had run its course a couple of episodes ago.
Overall, a passable enough episode, but certainly nothing special.
