The second game in the Super Mario Bros franchise is indeed good, however, it still doesn't reach the feet of the original game. Here we have an expansion of the universe that was presented to us in Super Mario Bros (1985) and this is a very high point of the game, but overall it is a little below. There is no villain that is as striking as Bowser in this game and that ends up making the story a little irrelevant. The settings are really cool and beautiful, but I still prefer the ones from the first game. Something that is very good is the insertion of new playable characters with emphasis on Luigi who would become one of the most important characters in the entire franchise. It's a harder game and has some levels that are even cooler than the original. Inferior as it may be, this second game has a very high quality.
