Thank goodness this movie doesn't close with the old man's death or some kind of reconciliation with his son. I like that there is no absolute ending. It isn't exactly a cliff hanger for that matter. But it resembles real life and leaves room for imagination. I also like that the movie includes some apparently incidental events, like the scene where Ben's ex and her boyfriend come to drop off their daughter. Even the title itself. It gives the picture a more complete and realistic appeal.
