After watching 2 hours I end up with more unsolved questions than I had in the first 5 minutes. I will start with the plot (if there is one). This movie could be 15 minutes plot wise. There is some details in the start and some in the end. The best plot was near the end, when the Sudan prime minister had a 2 minutes speech Wich was good but had nothing to do with the rest of the movie and they didn't use it at all. I felt like watching two different movies, one with the main story and a side story. The side story was 2 hours tho. The 9/10 of the movie didn't have any means to exist and didn't help in the plot development.
All characters was flat. One digital personalities with Characters overreacting. Not even close to reality in what they were doing. I didn't find a reason to like anyone and no reason to hate them either and no one of the characters had an ark. Most of the time I was very confused why they do, what they do.
Actors was not that's good. Main protagonist start a try of acting after the second third of the movie. The best actor was the small kid.
Has some action scenes but the edit destroys it. The cuts was all over the place camera didn't follow the movements of what's going on right and the open plans was through objects, doors, windows, cars, security cameras and other stuff. There was a scene when 4 characters gun shooting their way to get from one car to an other and I lost time and space from all the cuts and camera movements. Couldn't understand which one is moving which side and which distance has one and other. One of the best fight that out protagonist supposed to show us and the others how good he is was through a green screen security camera and I couldnt even see which one was the protagonist until all others was on the floor, so I guessed that's him. The hole movie has a dark filter that made everything and everyone looks the same 5 meters from the camera.
No plot twists, not clever lines, not bonds between characters, not character build, not anything to keep you in a realistic mode. I felt like there was no meaning to anything anyone was doing from start to the end. I think movie could get under base (5+/10) if the give a little more time in editing. A lot of things I needed to accept that happened but it didn't show me why it end up happening.
