So many people here are complaining about the non-binary character in this show, who haven't even watched any of it and are completely missing the more important messages of acceptance, family, and understanding because they're so focused on the fact that an alien robot species doesn't conform to their ideas of gender. Is this series for everyone? No. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you want to leave a review, at least watch the whole series before judging it. As a lifelong fan of the Transformers, I found this an enjoyable watch. The characterizations, the story, and the acting are fairly good, if you look at this with the mindset of a show aimed at children. I know I'm not the target demographic, and I still enjoyed it. Optimus Prime's motto is "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." That means everyone deserves to be free to be who they are. If you don't like it, then that's you're prerogative.
