A Netflix original from a few weeks ago. A government operative, Alban Lenoir (from Netflix's Lost Bullet film series), is recruited to go undercover in a crime family's organization (to find out the ties between them a mad bomber) where he bonds w/the capo's, played by former footballer Eric Cantona, son. The son is soon kidnapped by a rival gang & Lenoir has to get his Man on Fire on to get his young charge back. All of this would be fine if poor Lenoir didn't immediately fade into the background making him an anti-hero cypher personified which w/the usual action tropes on display you need someone approaching a modicum of energetic charisma (say Omar Sy!) to make this story come alive. Only for those Gallic completists who love French crime thrillers...you know who you are, mon ami.
