'Go On' just about gets over the line with this episode, but it's certainly a weaker episode.
The show can't keep relying on a nice sweet moment at the end though to save what at times is weaker material and hope that we don't notice.
There are certain characters/actors that work well together here, and when put together for a storyline everything works. So Ryan and Anne, Ryan and Lauren etc.
Expanding Mr K though didn't make much sense to me, as he doesn't work well in that form. He's better saying odd things at the back of other scenes.
As for the whole 'Ryan freezes on TV' aspect of the episode - it was weak here and it was weak when Matthew Perry tried to do the same plot again years later on 'The Odd Couple'.
Not one of the better episodes, but it remains likable.
