Walken, legros and tierney star in this updated version of macbetch. Pat and mac work at a fast food joint. Pat convinces her husband their life could be better if they ran the joint themselves. If only officer mcduff would stop asking questions! Then come the blood and guts. More bodies piling up. Kind of like a coen brothers film. It's low key, dark humor. Pretty good! No big twists or surprises, but just a study in karma. Would be fun to hear the director's commentary to catch all the in-jokes. Directed by billy morrissette... his only directing gig so far. And maura tierney was married to morrissette for over ten years.
