These two sentence inspired episodes have nothing to do with the horror genre but drama. The tittle is incredibly misleading. Most of these stories (mainly of abused women) were incredibly powerful, sad, and horrific (not scary). None of this makes the whole concept boring or played out. Black mirror goes the logical psychological path, this goes the dramatic emotional path. Both equally good and well made. But this just wasn't for me. I can't remember a single episode (I just finished the seasons) and all the stories fell short of true grit. I can't watch too much lifetime dramas So it took me some time getting through these. I did my best to pace them out so they were easier to enjoy. I found myself loosing interest to return for another after the 3rd episode. But I made it (almost 2 months later but seeing this is from 2022 I didn't wait long enough).
The episodes that made me think perhaps I should keep going were: S1-Scion (meh). Hide. Squirm.
S2-Gentleman. Essence. Quota (meh). Instinct (meh).
S3-Erased. Teeth (it was funny and I would mind a movie on this). Crush (the only true great episode that needs its own movie. Brava! 10)
