So many great actors in this are given roles they've done before, and brilliantly. But in this they are undermined by the most cliched and predictable story you've ever seen.
There is not a single piece of dialog that you can't predict word for word before they say it. And there is not a single scene that is even a little bit surprising. Why watch something when you've seen it all before and know exactly who it turns out?
Part of what also makes the film frustrating with its predictability is that the main characters keep making the worst and most illogical decisions, things no one else would do. They self destruct, and not in ways explained by the story.
