Review of Infrared

Infrared (2022)
3/10
A film full of missed opportunities
30 July 2023
Last night I sat down to watch this and an hour and a half later I came away thinking this movie could have been so much better.

It starts off with an exorcism, which made my partner and I laugh out loud, that is not something you want in a horror film.

Then we go to a woman wanting to go into a haunted school and place cameras there, in one part the door slams closed, she walks back I tot what room and even though there is a window open with the blinds blowing, she doesn't think it's that that had made the door slam shut.

She disappears, this is where I guessed the so called twist.

Then we go back to the original cast who talk crap for what seemed forever and the movie went back to being boring.

This misfit group then go into the school and find the cameras, without even looking for the second one, they find it.

Then the janitor turns up, this is the so called twist I saw ages ago in the movie.

I am not going to put anything down here that gives the plot away.

They get trapped in a what I shall call, a small unfinished space, they are trapped.

Even though there is a ladder to the side that goes up to a tunnel that now one sees, hang on, I thought these were experts in their field.

This script is as so full of holes, you could have driven a bus through.

Little minor details ruined what could have been a really good movie.

Yeah f those potholes and been filled, this could have been as good as Grave Encounters and He'll House LLC, but alas because they didn't make the script tight and the movie more tense. This movie will end up in the FF bin for poor films.

It's a shame.
