From the start nothing makes sense. These girls don't seem to like each other at all, especially enough to be celebrating something together. Every cliche imaginable. Typical cringy bad guys, over acting, very weak plot, zero twists, incredibly predictable.... They just didn't give me enough info on anyone or anything. I wasn't invested enough to care in who gets killed or who ends up together, who survives, etc. It was the opposite.
Hated the whiny/mean sister so didn't have any feelings whatsoever regarding that character. Which also helped to make the "surprise" ending fall flat on its' face.
Also, would've been more impactful and empowering if she had dumped out the bottle at the end instead of drinking it. That just added another layer of disappointment. Bummed because I really wanted to like this one.
I recommend You're Next for a satisfying home invasion sort of movie.
