Review of My Fault

My Fault (2023)
1/10
My Fault? More like My Headache!
19 August 2023
Oh boy, where do I even begin with "My Fault" (2023)? I'd give it zero stars if I could, but I guess half a star is as close as I can get to expressing how mind-numbingly painful this cinematic train wreck was. So, Noah has to leave her town, boyfriend, and friends to shack up in her mother's new husband's mansion. Sounds like the setup for a thrilling drama, right? Wrong.

From the moment Noah and her new stepbrother Nick lock eyes, it's like watching two cats hissing at each other. Their "forbidden relationship" is less Romeo and Juliet and more like a cheesy soap opera plot gone horribly wrong. Their rebellious tempers are more like temper tantrums, and I couldn't decide who I wanted to slap more. Their love story turned their worlds upside down, alright - and my world, too, because I wasted precious hours of my life on this mess. If you're into cringe-worthy, headache-inducing films, "My Fault" is your ticket to cinematic torment.
