Morality gets fractured without direction
19 September 2023
This movie is painful to watch, but at times insightful on some mechanisms of social behavioralism and psychology.

I get the bad in pain first. This movie is very experimental, chaotic and hard to follow. It kinda emulates like how life feels for teenager at times. This isn't good for viewer however. It is tiresome and makes it hard to sipher the meaning in the movie (even the basic message) Furthermore the literal cinematography is tiresome, because it is often handheld and chaotic and most of the time not in the favor of the movie.

The good in the pain. This movie forces viewer to look at all the bullying and crime going on, it forces to process it. It shows truly how horrible people can be, and teenagers without comprehensible ethical base can be one of the worse offenders. This shows really how important the adults and societal structures are. Here in this films universe, both are lacking or gone.

There are some slight commentary or "consept dropping" on some japanese societal issues, like the school system. These are mostly snippets and don't really ad any meaning or complexity.
