I have to say, i have not seen Return of the Living Dead 2 and 1, i only saw this one. I'm guessing that the 1st one is much better, this one it is entertaining to a degree, but the story it's self is totally stupid.
Your girlfriend got hit by a tree, what are you going to do? Get help, bring her to the hospital, call somebody? No you are going to take her into a bioweapon base, and turn her into a zombie. Yeah... That's what our main character comes up with. Bravo.
I can say that the gore effects for the most part look pretty good, the story is as i said really idiotic no offense. This movie would of been much better if instead of the whole plot being this teen that's trying to bring his dead girlfriend back alive, instead of it being a serious movie focusing on bioweapon zombies. That whole idea like "SCP's" is awesome, however it's ruined with the stupid framing story.
I did not hate this movie, but it's far from being good. Sure if you like stuff like The Collector, Conjuring, Headless, Slashers in general go right ahead and watch this.
However, i can safely say that BrainDead and Premutos are much better zombie films then this thing will ever be, why? Because there's at least some amount of logic in them, and the gore is much better then this thing was.
