The series has a good drama but there is no connection to reality when it comes to fighting a disease. In fact the side stories and drama are the main priority of the series. Finding a cure is like 10th on the list of everyone's priorities
Also seems like India and rest of the world just abondons the whole island and let them die and everyone fate depends on two doctors who can't agree on basic things and a private company with more power than the whole country.
Frankly it started with a lot of potential but it seems like they have added tragedy, drama and hopelessness just for the sake of it. And that's what makes the series mediocre at best.
