Had largely given up on Netflix movies after watching more than a few clunkers. But after seeing this racing to number one and then reading the Interesting description. I decided to give it a chance, and i'm glad i did.
I loved the attitude and atmosphere of the movie. Which limits itself to a handful of characters. Stuck together in the middle of what appears to be a cyber attack. Its really all about the characters and creepy atmosphere. As they gradually encounter whats happening, and the film cleverly has us seeing things from their perspective. Not having everything explained to us. I'm really starting to turn on technology so the movie showing how rediculusly reliant we are on it really struck something in me.
It might be a bit too arty though. The films well captured and there are alot of cool camera angles. But it gets to a point where there's maybe too many upside down shots and the like. The movie also goes a bit overboard with the unnecessary CGI and that ending will leave alot of viewers fuming after being so invested overall.
