This movie is warm and magical. Studio Ghibli usually thrives in the outlandish and strange, and this movie only dabbles in both. The story is simple, the characters are relatable and the animation is beautiful (as always).
The relationship between the sisters (and their parents) is at the center of the story, which I love. That being said, I wanted more adventures with the titular character. I was hoping for a little more closure in the end, but it is still a fantastic movie. It's a pure comfort film to watch on a rainy day.
