Maybe i'm way off on this one. But i actually really enjoyed this movie. I saw it because it looked like it was in the vein of "Eddie the eagle" or "Phantom of the open." Both of which i loved. Plus starring Michael Fassbender and having Taika Waititi In there was a bonus.
It pretty much delivered on what i wanted from it. As i had a smile on my face for most of its running time. There were way more funny moments than i expected, but i was also tearing up at one part. Though overall it was a feel good movie that should have you cheering.
I did expect more laughs from everyone else in the cinema though. So maybe i'll be one of the few giving this such a good score. Alot of the jokes were Fassbender being straight faced about something ridiculous. Or the island/players being rubbish. So if you'd find that funny. You should check the movie out.
