Was hoping this would be a darker look at Elvis Presley through Priscilla Presley. After last years all show and no tell Elvis movie. But despite a great lead performance. The movies very average.
Cailee Spaeny Is very good and staggeringly beautiful as Priscilla, and its good that the movie digs into the uncomfortable start of her relationship with Elvis. But there's just not much story to get into after that, and the movie doesn't do itself any favours by having alot of scenes set in the same bedroom as well as cutting itself short at the end.
Jacob Elordi does a decent impression of Elvis as well i guess. But the film can get a little boring just having the two actors looking into each others eyes and talking for most of the time.
