Warning: Spoilers
If you like Quentin Tarantino and don't care for realism this movie is for you that's keeps it pace study nevertheless fails to entertain you...Blood & Gold is brutal, unexpectable arguably a fantastic thriller... Once we start it, we can't stop it...

A spaghetti western style WW2 movie. Very clever action shot in an old fashioned long take style but with modern visual and practical effects. Exceptionally well choreographed fight sequences.

Its not going to be to everyone's taste but its a good, fresh approach to the action movie genre...The story line keeps it moving along and has enough interest to keep the viewer engaged between the action...

Peter Thorwath walks the same path as features like Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and various spaghetti westerns.

He's made a gritty, gory, ultra violent film that fully embraces its genre influences.

Yet Thorwath also shows he has a knack for characters, and there are many frames at times darkly funny war-torn tale... Each scene builds, and no one is ever truly safe...

We also get some fantastic action scenes that range from intense shootouts to ferociously choreographed fight sequences & the funniest part is it could make you go crazy over its characters...

Overall Yet another good international grab for Netflix!
