I have to say I was a little surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this movie. Yeah, it's not going to win awards, but it's a nice little enjoyable watch that gave me a good few laughs!
The plot is unique (or nothing I've seen before anyway) and I thought the comedic acting was on point. John Cena in particular was very funny and sold his role well. I will say that I thought the plot got a touch stale towards the end as since it's a comedy plot you typically know what the outcome of the movie will be about midway. I don't expect twists and turns as it's just a simple, brain switch off comedy. But, it was a bit stale towards the end and I would have liked just a little more "wow" factor.
But that's the only real negative I have to say. Ultimately it's a comedy, with a fun and unique plot that gave me some good laughs! Can't really ask for too much more. I honestly believe this is the type of movie that would have done so well in the box office about 15 years ago. But, at least more people can watch this with it on streaming.
