The days of portraying the mean kid in school as that stereotypical bully has passed. Unrealistic villain portrayals really take this good intentioned movie off the rails. Alot of the rolling out the eyes here. The father's and mother's character development was terrible in it's unrealistic acting and portrayal as well. Ugh. The actress who played the mother was not at all close to a decent performance. Cringy. Maybe it had more to do with directing, because someone should have said...."uh redo everything"
