I've been a fan of Tracie's short films and award-winning screenplays for years, but I was completely unprepared for how powerfully this film would wrap me up in its spell and never let me go. From the beautifully vulnerable performances of Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo, to the pitch-perfect script, to the masterful cinematography and directing, there's a dozen reasons why this film ran away with both the 2024 SXSW Jury Award and Audience Award.
