This movie is so incredibly poorly done. It's hard to tell if the acting is incredibly bad, or if the writing is just so ridiculously egregious that the actors had nothing to work with. The entire movie has the melodramatic undertone, with 0 subtlety or nuance. It slams you over the head with constant cliches. Don't waste your time. From the first scene you feel the religious undertones and it feels like a low budget, poorly written, almost saccharine in its effort to bring home some message. The directing is equally bad. Everything about this movie is just awkward which makes it painful to watch. The subject matter, held promise, but everyone involved with this movie did not do it justice.
