A young man is nervously anticipating meeting his prospective father-in-law when a blackout occurs creating a series of mistaken identities, misadventures, and mishaps caused by being in the dark. Things take a turn for the worse when the young man's ex-lover returns and takes advantage of the situation to torment the man who jilted her.
