This exploitation item, written, directed and produced by Tom Laughlin, combines two somewhat diverse subjects, namely sex and a speech impediment. As we might expect, there are plenty of hysterical outbursts about prostitutes and virgins. But the ankle- length costumes of the young ladies are now as dated as Mr. Laughlin's technique. Nevertheless, for an independent production, composed entirely of unknown talent on both sides of the camera, the film is unusually smooth and slick. It was photographed by James Crabe. The film editor was Bob Seiler, and the dubbing editor, Dick Carello. All in all, it adds up to passable entertainment for those patrons who are not particularly interested in mainstream Hollywood productions, but groove on this sort of emotional guff, offered by an independent film-maker. It's also, of course, a minor historical curiosity that might appeal to the movie connoisseur who has seen everything Hollywood has to offer and wants to enlarge his or her horizons.
