Cocaine Bear (read our review Here) screenwriter Jimmy Warden has said that he has ideas for multiple sequels to the film, and some movie-goers have already let it be known that they’re hoping and waiting for a movie that would be called Cocaine Shark. But while we wait to see if Cocaine Bear is going to spawn a franchise, the mockbuster masters at The Asylum have unveiled a poster of the mockbuster they have made to cash in on the Cocaine Bear hype: a movie called Attack of the Meth Gator! An exact release date hasn’t been announced, but we can expect to see Attack of the Meth Gator sometime this summer.
We can only assume that Attack of the Meth Gator is going to be about an alligator going on a killing spree after consuming meth, much like Cocaine Bear is about a bear going on a killing spree after consuming cocaine.

Shannon and the Clams finished recording their upcoming album, Year of the Spider, right before Nashville was hit by a tornado and the music world ground to a halt due to Covid-19. The record — produced by Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach — stayed in limbo throughout 2020, but on Wednesday, the band unveiled new single “Midnight Wine” ahead of a planned August 20th release date for the new album.
“I remember texting with Dan about the record shortly after [the pandemic shut the music industry down] and saying, ‘I have no idea when we could possibly release this. I think...

"So I guess we're not having any fun today?" Vanishing Angle has released official trailer for indie coming-of-age film Beast Beast, which originally premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival last year to some solid reviews. This looks like a super indie, shoot-from-the-hip, creative low key story about "what it means to come of age in an era marked by technology and social media, where violent clashes awaken dormant passions and teenagers are faced with growing up all too quickly." The cast of newcomers includes Shirley Chen, Will Madden, and Jose Angeles. Reviews say that the film "captures Gen Z in a compelling, raw form. Insightful and terrifying... ambitious and intriguing." Terrifying indeed. This definitely does look a bit wild and crazy, maybe a bit too wild and crazy, but perhaps I just don't understand all the kids these days... Here's the official trailer (+ two posters) for Danny Madden's Beast Beast,...

Jim Cummings’ thriller “The Beta Test” has been acquired by IFC Films.
Cummings wrote, directed and stars in the film that was an official selection for this year’s Berlin International Film Festival. IFC will distribute the film theatrically, on digital platforms and on demand this fall.
“The Beta Test” follows an enraged Hollywood agent who received a letter for an anonymous sexual encounter and becomes trapped in a world of lying and infidelity. Pj McCabe, Virginia Newcomb, Kevin Changaris, Olivia Grace Applegate, Jessie Barr, Keith Powell, Joy Sunday, Wilkey Lau, Malin Barr and Christian Hillborg also star.
“IFC has partnered with the boldest and most insanely talented filmmakers in history, Armando Iannucci, Paolo Sorrentino, Andrea Arnold, and hundreds of others and then they let us just ruin it in 2021,” Cummings said in a statement to TheWrap. “This movie was financed independently through a crowd-equity platform called WeFunder, we produced it independently,...

It’s that time of year again. While some directors annually share their favorite films of the year, Steven Soderbergh lists everything he consumed, media-wise. One of Apex Legends‘ least-played heroes has received a substantial rework with Season 5.
We are, of course, referring to holographic trickster Mirage, who has found himself struggling to compete with top-tier picks like Wraith and Octane for some time. A large part of the character’s weakness has historically been due to his generally unimpactful toolkit, especially the decoy-generating Psyche Out, which, despite its intended function as misdirection, was often immediately recognizable as a fake to any player with a working pair of eyes.
Clearly just as dissatisfied with Mirage’s reputation as everyone else, Respawn has finally seen fit to roll out a number of improvements to the Legend which sees almost every ability altered to some degree. Continue through the break below for a full breakdown of how the slippery customer now operates on the battlefield.

In classic best friend one-upmanship, neither of us claimed to be any cop at talking to girls at parties, but both claimed to be the bigger Terminator fan. With every new Terminator movie since, I’ve dragged said mate to the cinema and sat with childlike, open-mouthed delight through an average-at-best film. I’m not sure why I like Terminator so much. Kelly Clarkson just sang the hell out of a challenging Mariah Carey song. While staying home on her ranch in Montana, the singer answered her fans' call for music covers and offered her spin on "Vanishing," off Carey's debut self-titled album. "I feel like I'm back in high school," Clarkson joked while belting out the song from her bathroom.
Viewers of The Voice will recall that the 1990 song recently came up when contestant Mandi Castillo listed Carey as a musical influence, which got Clarkson excited. "Oh my gosh, girl. That's like track five. I know that album," Clarkson said at the time. Carey later saw the clip and tweeted, "Kelly, I'll take your track 5 and raise you a track 3 on Meaning of Life!"

Love Kelly Clarkson? You're not alone. Mariah Carey praised the 37-year-old singer via Instagram on Thursday. Earlier in the day, the American Idol alumna took to the social network to perform a rendition of Carey's song "Vanishing." Clarkson held the mini concert in a bathroom at her ranch in Montana. "Hiding in Montana," Clarkson wrote in part of the caption alongside the clip. "That time [you're] quarantined, [your] kids [are] sleeping, so [you're] stuck in a bathroom and [your] glam squad's nowhere in sight." Needless to say, The Voice coach totally nailed the performance. Even Carey called it a "beautiful rendition."...

RaroVideo:Referenced in Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol. 2, Uomini si Nasce Poliziotti si Muore (Live Like A Cop, Die Like A Man, 1976) opens with an insane motorcycle chase that was filmed in rush hour in downtown Rome with no permission from the local authorities. To top it off, this is one of the most violent and unconventional Italian style action films of its time. The credit goes to the director, Ruggero Doedato, best known for his infamous and censored film Cannibal Holocaust, and the scriptwriter Fernando Di Leo, author and director of some of the best Italian gangster films from the 70s such as Caliber 9, The Boss and The Italian Connection. Never before in film history have we seen such nihilistic and pathological behavior...
