This movie was a little dated, however it moved just fast enough to maintain my interest. It didn't have any surprise ending for me but the suspense built steadily. The climax was less than intense, however it developed well. I would call this movie a good one time event and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained but doesn't need their socks knocked off.
The main character, Ellie Shaw, played by Jennifer Beals is very honest and believable. I don't know why exactly, but she reminded me of Keisha Castle-Hughes as Paikea in "Whale Rider".
The Character Mick Clarkson is well played by James Remar who is a bit of a Patrick Swayze wannabe (Or maybe its vice versa), but that is OK because I think Swayze is intense and I like the intensity of Remars acting. (But to put that into context I like Jim Carrey's overacting) All in all a decent movie.
