Sex & Nudity

  • During two of the songs early in the show, many words flash across the screen in an attempt to produce a frenetic and psychedelic atmosphere. Several of these words are sexual ("whore," "sex," etc.). However, they briefly flash and then disappear, and are hit and miss.
  • Several songs have suggestive lyrics.
  • One song features a belly dancer. This is somewhat sensual.
  • Bono sensually embraces a young woman from the audience for almost the entirety of the song "Love is Blindness." This can be somewhat uncomfortable to watch.
  • Bono makes some rude hand gestures, slinks around the stage sensually, and is generally provocative through most of the show.
  • Pictures flash across multiple enormous screens throughout the concert, including brief nudity and sexually provocative images.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • People in the audience are seen drinking alcohol, and some are clearly intoxicated. Brief drug use by the audience might be seen at a couple very brief points.
  • Bono smokes during the show, as do other members of the band and audience. This is played up for theatrical quality and could be considered glorified at times.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The concert might be terrifying for some younger viewers due its frantic "in your face" nature. Some images displayed are disturbing. Some songs are dark and deal with mature subject matter. Very fast-paced and dizzying, with panoramic camera work that might bother some.
  • At one point later in the show Bono dresses like the devil, which can be disturbing and / or scary.
