The paradoxical poetry of war in a hymn to the life
alfred7923 September 2000
It's e real Luchetti masterpiece: during the 2nd world war a group of young Italian students takes part to the patriotic fight armed only with a great heart that pulse with its sound among the infernal noises of bombs and machine-guns. The good feelings find by strength their place in a hate scenery, giving a touch of humanity to the infernal world of armed fight, with the contrast between the poetical words that shine breaking the darkness of war. A dream that hits hard against the grey wall of reality, flying by the wings of a simple and complex question:"Why?". There is no way to justify so big hate that makes a man not able to read in peace a poem book, always ready to click the trigger for saving life, for saving freedom, for saving that good rights that are kings of the heart realms: a war against war that is a hymn to the life!
