Tricia Lake camps it up as the madam of a sex slave brothel in HOUSE OF KRISTINA, a wimpy excuse for a b&d movie. It was aimed at mainstream porn audiences not quite ready for the really kinky stuff. Something Weird resurrected the movie on Vol. 92 of its Dragon Art Theatre series.
A couple of girls show up on her doorstep "lost", and Kristina drugs them with an aphrodisiac in their wine. She has a black assistant named Eric and a white one named Heathcliff who service the girls and get them ready for a life of prostitution.
Lake as Kristina operates out of a bedroom that is very poorly dressed -it looks way to ordinary in context. Downstairs they have two other pretty girls trussed up in bondage, Lori & Tina, who service Ken Scudder and another guy who looks a bit like Michael Gaunt, the classic rapist of THE INTRUSION. Later on Kristina joins in the sex action.
This is a boring effort, with stupid dubbed-in amplified moaning & groaning & slurping sounds during the sex scenes that is ridiculous. Some of the money shots are faked in obvious "overflowing mouth" fashion.
One interesting element is that the Chieftains' wonderful Irish music played on Kubrick's BARRY LYNDON soundtrack has been adapted here with a reggae beat, and the lengthy track is played over & over in a vain effort to add a touch of class. It's a lost cause.
