they'd had the cohones to put in a real female character. It isn't particularly about a destructive relationship (as the summary says): it's about the way a relationship can crystallise the conflict between idealism and attachment to worldly things. It has some wonderful visual jokes. Likely to appeal to those who love: Seattle in the summer, _Love in the Time of Cholera_, Monty Python, Tom Stoppard.
