See a person grow up with his country

Follows a boy growing up in Taiwan from the 50s to present day (late 80s). Finds and loses love more than once, and winds up a cynical man, until a young woman enters his life and changes it forever. Don't know how much people who are not into Taiwan will like this film, but I love it. Very Taiwan.
