A country girl's sweetheart goes to the city, where he falls under the spell of an adventuress who faints into his arms in the office of a fashionable hotel. Such wiles would hardly bother a man of common sense, in fact, the adventuress is quite without atmosphere all through and this gives the offering a certain sloppiness all through, makes it rather distressing. The role is played by Julia Swayne Gordon and the character was the fault not of her, but of the script, which is real. - The Moving Picture World, September 20, 1913
