Comedy and Drama makes it very entertaining

Balaraju is a naive and timid lawyer who loses the cases for his clients more than he actually helps them. He has a female assistant who happens to be his love interest too. Sujatha, a widow of a wealthy man, is in a legal dispute with her husband's family for his property. All her options have been exhausted to prove she is the wife and she runs into Balaraju who takes up the case. Balaraju is intimidated by constantly getting beaten up by some goons working for Sujatha's opponents.

Balaraju decides to fight the case, because he no longer wants to be afraid. He shows that he is indeed a very smart lawyer and figures out that Sujatha's in-laws were behind her husband's murder.

Great movie, good pace, direction and storyline.

A wonderful telugu movie starring Rajendra Prasad, and including cast of Oorvasi, Kinnera, Sharat Babu & Gollapudi.

Rajendra Prasad is an out-of-work lawyer, which is why the title 'chettu kinda pleader' literally meaning lawyer operating below a tree. He is so bad in his practice that he literally ends up sentencing his own client for various serious criminal offences though that person had only an bodily assault case against him. He has a love interest that supports him in spite of his failures.

Enter a young widow whose husband (Sharat Babu) was killed by goons. She wants to find out the culprit. The first half ends with the finding of the culprit. The second half is how he is convicted in a Court of Law.

Rajendra Prasad has given a very mature performance, perfectly timing his comedy with the seriousness demanded in the second half. The excellent acting and direction shows when the main villain and murderer of his client's husband threatens him. He does not respond to the threat and maintains his cool. This is a must-watch scene.

I won't let out more plot details. This movie is available in CDs and DVDs in Andhra Pradesh, and in other places like Bangalore and other main cities. Go and see the movie. Typical Vamshi fare, excellent and loved it.
