Kylie Jenner hasn’t been around — as pregnant sister Khloé Kardashian has duly noted by calling her the new Rob Kardashian — and there’s a specific reason why.
“Kylie wants to disappear and be out of the spotlight and focus on her health and happiness,” a source close to the KarJenner family tells People about Jenner, who is expecting her first child — a girl — with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott in February.
“Kylie isn’t going to publicly address her pregnancy until she gives birth. She’s not doing any public appearances and just wanted to take six months off,” says the source,...

Hailee Steinfeld‘s first kiss wasn’t exactly butterflies and fireworks.
The “Love Myself” singer, 20, graces the cover of Cosmopolitan‘s December issue, where she recalled locking lips for the first time during the summer before sixth grade.
Unfortunately, like many before her, she found the experience disappointing.
“I set my expectations waaay too high,” Steinfeld revealed.
The Pitch Perfect 3 star said that nowadays she doesn’t need a man to feel good — in fact, she feels sexiest when she’s “onstage performing for my fans.”
Steinfeld said last year that she isn’t putting too much thought into finding a boyfriend.

Five years, three albums and 13 No. 1 singles after making their major label debut, Here's to the Good Times, Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard humbly, reluctantly attempts to answer a loaded question: "Do you feel like you've made it?"
"Ah..." he trails off initially, with bandmate Brian Kelley jumping in to attempt a deflection. "We made it to these awards!" he says, referencing the Cmt Artists of the Year event, where they have been honored alongside country royalty every year for the last five years. "We made it here!"
"It's hard not to think we've made it when you look out every night and see 30,000 people singing your songs," Hubbard allows.
"At the same time," he continues, "we're big dreamers and we kind of say, 'The sky's the limit, so let's see where this thing is going to go,' and we kind of continue that motto and see where it leads us."

Kylie Jenner may be “so happy” to be pregnant with her first child, but some members of the KarJenner clan have expressed concern about the makeup mogul, who only just turned 20 in August, becoming a mother.
“Kylie is very naive,” the insider says, recounting the family’s worries. “Spending time with other people’s kids is obviously completely different than being a mom 24/7. Kylie of course has no idea about all the hard work and sleepless nights.”

“Younger” gets attention for its look into the New York social circles and its attention-grabbing fashions, and that’s as it should be. After all, this is a series by Darren Star, who also brought us the delights of “Sex and the City.”

The only problem is that no one will even glance at her resume since she became a full-time mother nearly two decades ago. No “Bull,” CBS wants you to know that the freshman Michael Weatherly series is actually the No. 1 new show of the year in total viewers, over NBC’s lauded “This Is Us.”
“We congratulate them on their success, but we like winning,” CBS senior exec VP Kelly Kahl said. He also pointed out that even CBS’ “Blue Bloods” has a larger audience than any other drama on the other networks, except “This Is Us.”
“The Big Bang Theory” is the “Wayne Gretzky of comedy,” he noted, arguing that no other half-hour comes close in total viewers, which is why they’re big on spinoff entry “Young Sheldon.” The show was recently renewed for two more seasons, a negotiation that Moonves characterized as amicable.
He also said he “hoped” that the show will continue even beyond that. “We’ll do these two years and we’re not going to just lay down,...

Archie may have been born as a comic book character, but it was Greg Berlanti and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa who gave him a superhero physique. That is not a critique, but it is perhaps the first thing you might notice about the CW’s new take on the 76-year-old all-American high schooler, now making his live action television debut.
Read More: ‘Riverdale’: CW’s Lynchian Archie Just Missed Becoming a Time-Travel Show Starring Louis C.K.
“Riverdale” could be seen as a “Island of Doctor Moreau”-esque attempt to cross-breed the DC TV universe currently thriving on the CW with a “Gossip Girl”-style teen drama made which was so popular in the CW’s early days. In fact, that might be the easiest way to describe it. And yet there’s just enough happening underneath the surface to make it worthy of deeper study. This is no zombie corpse of a comic book adaptation.

Celebrities definitely weren't afraid to throw some serious shade in 2016.
Whether the shade surprised you -- who knew there was so much drama on the Fast 8 set? -- or whether it made you cringe, let's take a look back at the most epic disses of the year in chronological order.
1. Kanye West Goes Off on Wiz Khalifa
Kanye West went on one of his most memorable rants ever in January, when he went In on rapper Wiz Khalifa over the course of 17 tweets. West called the "See You Again" rapper's first single "corny as f*ck", claimed no one ever listened to any of Khalifa's albums "all the way through," but also gave him a backhanded compliment on his style.
"I think you dress cool, I wish I was skinny and tall," West tweeted. "Maybe I couldn't be skinny and tall but I'll settle for being the greatest artist of all time as a consolation."

Jeremy Irons is in many respects the quintessential English film actor. That’s not simply because of the honeyed diction and innate elegance, but the versatility that has enabled him to travel with ease between romantic leading man, edgy character actor and sinister villain, towards an Indian summer of ever-dependable supporting player.

Think James Mason. In fact, Irons and Mason even have a role in common – the riskiest of roles, Nabokov’s infamous pedophile Humbert Humbert, Mason most famously in Kubrick’s “Lolita” of 1962, Irons for Adrian Lyne in 1997. It’s difficult to imagine many Americans jumping at a character who came second in Time’s “Top 10 Worst Fictional Fathers,” or possessing the nuance necessary to make us almost like the man.

Meryl Streep Unauthorized Biography Claims Dustin Hoffman Slapped Her Across the Face During Filming
Dustin Hoffman may have taken his method acting to another level when working with Meryl Streep on their award-winning 1979 film, Kramer vs. Kramer. First, the good news: Madonna's "Vogue" is still the definitive '90s dance classic, and I don't care about your counterarguments even if you're defending "Groove is in the Heart," "No Scrubs," "This is How We Do It," "Baby Got Back," or whatever. It's all about "Vogue." No song has more attitude, authority, winking self-absorption, and sheer dancefloor chutzpah. No song is gayer either, which helps. Anyway, the bad news: Katy Perry used a snippet of "Vogue" on her newest tour. Ugggggghhhhhh. Just because you do most of your dancing with your hands doesn't mean you are entitled to vogue. Check out the small Madonna tribute here. Of Madonna's huge hits, "Vogue" is probably the one that her most diehard fans tend to love most. It is the most Madonna of Madonna songs. It is the most "Love yourself as you worship me." As a fellow worshipper of the Lourdes,...

Kill Your Darlings made a splash at Sundance for first-time director John Krokidas, and not just because it starred Daniel Radcliffe as a budding collegiate writer named Allen Ginsberg. It presented a stylish, yet un-romanticized vision of Columbia University in the ’40s, a handful of recognizable stars as young literary icons (including Jack Huston as Jack Kerouac and Ben Foster as William S. Burroughs), and a largely unknown story of the murder that brought the Beat Generation together. It’s also a distinctly gay narrative during an awards season that has left us largely bereft of Lgbt characters, with the exception of Dallas Buyers Club and Blue is the Warmest Color. Kill Your Darlings is historical in scope but modern in its depiction of intellectual gay men and their gorgeous muse Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan in a breakout role).

Becoming the first big-time Western celebrity to fire at Russia's new anti-gay legislation, Sir Elton John made some noise at his concert in Moscow on Friday (December 6).
The 66-year-old song star's performance honored a Russian man killed for being gay, and during it, he condemned discrimination against the local gay community onstage.
The Russian legislation was enacted in June, and since then, the "Circle of Life" singer has become the first Western celebrity to publicly denounce the laws.
He claimed that he was "sad to learn" about the enactment of the banning of "propaganda of homosexuality among minors," also stating on BBC News that, "In my opinion, it is inhumane and it is isolating."
Joining Madonna and Lady Gaga (who performed in Moscow in 2012) as another singer to stand up against anti-gay movements, controversy and law suits are sure to follow.

The answer is simple: It was Actually memorable. Granted, it became a gigantic scandal after Janet Jackson’s bare breast was exposed by co-performer Justin Timberlake, but it also made the halftime show feel like a true event. More often than not, this break in between quarters (Football is quarters right?) feels like something you’d see at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and not something more fitting the audience of gagillion people watching.
I mean there are a few great performances from the last 10 years, like Prince in 2007, but looking at a list of past headliners I mostly just think,...

Looking trim and fashionable in high-heeled black boots and form-fitting leggings, Jessica Simpson was spotted with fiancé Eric Johnson at the Los Angeles International Airport Thursday with daughter Maxwell in tow. Simpson, 32 and former NFL player Johnson, also 32, returned on a flight from New York as reports continue to swirl that she is expecting her second child. Baby Maxwell, her first, was born on May 1. Becoming a parent, Simpson said, was "life-changing." Her publicist, speaking to People on Wednesday, declined to comment about a second pregnancy. Simpson, a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, recently made headlines with a 60 lb. post-pregnancy weight loss.

While Jessica Simpson appears to be in her 20th month of pregnancy, her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, has caught up to her in the baby-making race: He announced while guest-hosting Live With Kelly this morning that wife Vanessa Minnillo is pregnant with their first child.
“She started to feel a little different, not herself so she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!” Nick said of Vanessa, whom he married last July. “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”
According to Us Weekly, 30-year-old Minnillo, the host of Wipeout these days, is 12 weeks along. Some pics taken of her last weekend in Mexico...

I can't rightly say who started it, but I'd like to blame Hitchcock, the Waldo of American film. Ol' Al would love to intersperse himself into his own films, the original Easter Egg shaped easteregg. He had a wonderful sense of humor about it to, popping up in Rear Window and Strangers on a Train with great comedic gusto.
Nowadays, with many actors taking on directorial roles, and vice versa, there's bound to be crossover. More often than not, an actor will develop a true labor or love, a personal project, and will write, direct, act, produce -- wearing as many hats as possible, because they want this getting to the big screen.
I love a good cameo. I really and truly do. Sometimes it's a bright spot in an otherwise dreary film, or a familiar and welcome face. Like when you travel, and all of a sudden there's someone you know and love,...

Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock have purchased the film rights to journalist Alan Paul’s new memoir Big in China: My Unlikely Adventure Raising a Family, Playing the Blues and Reinventing Myself in Beijing for Montecito Pictures. Paul’s memoir arrived in stores on March 1 from HarperCollins. The book recounts "his time in Beijing, where he relocated from suburban New Jersey with his family when his wife, Rebecca Blumenstein, was named The Wall Street Journal’s China bureau chief."
Here is a description of the story from The Hollywood Reporter: "Becoming a stay-at-home dad, Paul spent hours exploring the city while his three young children were in school. One day, he wandered into a guitar shop to see if someone might be able to fix his guitar, which had been damaged en route to China. He struck up a conversation with Woodie Wu, a young guitarist and owner of the shop.

Last night’s Glee rocked some dead-on Britney Spears recreations, but it wasn’t the slam-dunk I had hoped it would be. Part of me didn’t buy New Directions’ devotion to Spears — aren’t they a liiiitle young for her? “Baby One More Time” would have come out when they were in first grade or so — but mostly, the numbers just didn’t advance, explore, or heighten the storylines.
It didn’t hit like the Madonna episode, which brilliantly wove the songs into the narrative; the “Like a Virgin” number alone would put that episode at the top of my “most awesome” list.

Veteran actor Ellen Burstyn believes young actors are misguided in believing an agent is a panacea. "I hear it all the time, 'How do I get an agent?' " she comments in the soft, almost breathy, voice that's become her vocal signature. "They feel the most important thing is to get an agent. It's not. The most important thing is to become a really good actor and to keep on studying, and if you do that and you have talent, people will start talking about it, and you'll find your way to an agent and work."Identified for more than 45 years with the iconic Actors Studio as a member, and now its co-president along with Harvey Keitel and Al Pacino, Burstyn is an impassioned advocate of ongoing training. "Talent only takes you so far," she says; that's a view she says is shared by current members, who are committed to...

If you have Netflix and are a horror fan in need of something to watch this Labor Day weekend, one look at this gargantuan list I compiled of the new terror titles Netflix has added for instant streaming in just the first three days of this month should keep you busy until Labor Day next year. You'll find something for everyone, from older titles to recent releases, famous to obscure, classic to not-so-classic, monsters to maniacs - you name it.
For the record, I considered compiling this list in alphabetical order or by year of the film's release, but then I realized I had already spent well over an hour just sorting through the massive catalogue of titles Netflix has now made available for instant streaming and realized Labor Day would be over by the time I finished arranging this list in any kind of order. Ready? Here you go.

Gwyneth recently wrote about suffering from a common bone disease, causing many to think it was a result of the macrobiotic diet she’s been on for the past 11 years — but it was something else!
BFFs, did you know that unprotected sunlight can actually be good for you? During a recent doctor’s trip diet and fitness addict Gwyneth Paltrow learned she was at the beginning stages of osteopenia — a disease that can eventually lead to osteoporosis! The cause, a lack of Vitamin D, a nutrient derived from sunlight!
Gwyneth wrote about her experience on her newsletter Goop saying she had the same fears we all do! “I was curious if this was safe, having been told for years to stay away from [the sun's] dangerous rays, not to mention a tad bit confused,” the actress explained. Turns out, doctors say unprotected sunlight Is good!

Madonna is planning to direct the feature "W.E", based on the story of King Edward VIII, the English royal who abdicated his throne to marry American divorcee, Wallis Simpson.
Madonna directed her first feature "Filth and Wisdom" in 2008 and will co-write "W.E." with Alex Keshishian, director of her 1991 documentary "Truth or Dare." Madonna will also reportedly get the best screenwriter in the business to polish the final script as well as hire the best first Ad in the business to help her call the shots.
Bessie Wallis Warfield first met the Prince of Wales in the 1930's, becoming his lover while still married to her second husband, businessman Ernest Simpson.
Matters came to a head when Edward became king in 1936 followed by Simpson filing for divorce from her husband. But the royal family and the British government would not allow Edward to marry her.

First Oprah and Tyra. Now it's Jessica's turn. Becoming the latest star to speak out this week in the wake of the Chris Brown-Rihanna fiasco, Jessica Simpson urged female fans at last night's concert in Phoenix to "run so far away" from abusive relationships. "In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there," Simpson, 28, told the crowd. "No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away." She then broke into "Remember That," with the lines "Remember how he pushed you in the hallway just enough to hurt a little bit/ Remember the whiskey in his...
