Measuring just 5ft 0 (152.4 cm), AnnaSophia Robb is much shorter than the average American woman. She wears a shoe size 5 (US), which translates to a UK size 2.5 or 3, a European size 35, and a Japanese size 21.

AnnaSophia’s Perspective on Height and Perception
“Everyone always says that guys are intimidated by me,” she told Teen Vogue in 2013, “but I seriously doubt it. I mean, I’m five-foot-nothing!”
“I think I must make a stank face,” she joked. “I loved high school,” AnnaSophia added.
“Everyone always asks me if the other kids treated me differently because of my career, but they didn’t. If you act weird, people are going to treat you weird, but if you’re just yourself, people respond to that.

Updated: There has been another round of content removal from Disney+, this time in the Emea region, which consists of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. More than 120 titles have been taken off this week, primarily Disney Channel original movies and vintage Disney live-action films, as well as a few series, including Zeke and Luther, Pepper Ann, So Random and the first three seasons of Nat Geo’s Genius and ESPN/Nat Geo docs.
According to sources, the takedowns were a result of a library title review. There have been several content purges at Disney+ over the last year amid cost-cutting, most notably the removal of a slew of original series last May.
Here is a list of movie titles that are said to be gone from Disney+ in Emea, compiled by Drew Ryan.

The original Max series “Full Circle” debuts on July 13. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, the new drama investigates a kidnapping gone wrong in New York, revealing the secrets and lies of multiple characters. Or as the trailer warns: “Everything is connected.” The six-episode limited series stars Zazie Beetz, Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Jharrel Jerome, Timothy Olyphant, and Dennis Quaid.
Watch the “Full Circle” trailer:
The four-part documentary “Last Call: When A Serial Killer Stalked Queer New York” is set in the early 1990s as the AIDS crisis worsens. The media’s distorted coverage of the gay victims, coupled with the homophobic biases of the criminal justice system, undermine the investigation. The docuseries — which premieres on Max on July 9 — illustrates how the LGBTQ+ community fought to solve the murders and demand attention for those murdered.

The month of April for Hulu is jam-packed with TV and film goodies, from Adam Sandler’s 1999 comedy “Big Daddy” to Fox’s hit sitcom “New Girl.”
On top of Hulu’s rollout of a new interface, it’s also adding some major film and TV titles to its platform. Some of the highlights that set off the first day of April include “American Psycho,” “Shrek” and its sequel “Shrek 2,” plus the Tim Story-directed “Think Like a Man.”
Anime series will be all the rage on Hulu with the dubbed version of the new popular series “Chainsaw Man” arriving, along with “Spy x Family” and “Black Clover.” If you’re looking for something a little bit more kid-friendly, the family can al enjoy “Despicable Me” and “Despicable 2,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days” and “Nanny McPhee.” For the lovers and heartless romantics, “Dear John” and “Date Night...

Hulu’s list of new releases for April 2023 don’t feature many blockbusters, but if we dig a little, I’m sure we can find some gems.
Perhaps the most promising items are on the TV side of things. Tiny Beautiful Things premieres on April 7 and stars Kathryn Hahn as “a floundering writer who becomes a revered advice columnist while her own life is falling apart.” That will be followed by comedy Am I Being Unreasonable? on April 11 and two documentaries: high school football story Algiers, America (April 19) and Tupac Shakur piece Dear Mama (April 22).
The best TV candidate this month, however, is probably Saint X on April 26. This series, told via multiple timelines, “explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

One of the most anticipated television releases of April is coming to Hulu on April 7. “Tiny Beautiful Things” stars Kathryn Hahn as troubled writer Clare. Ironically, she becomes a great advice columnist as her life falls apart. Her marriage is in trouble and her teen daughter hates her. Plus, her writing career is going nowhere. Based on the best-selling collection by Cheryl Strayed, the limited series explores the author’s journey toward healing herself and others.
Check out the “Tiny Beautiful Things” trailer:
Also arriving on Hulu in April is the series adaptation of the best-selling novel “Saint X.” The series is based on Alexis Schaitkin’s novel of the same name and follows a woman’s dangerous pursuit of her older sister’s disappearance on an idyllic Caribbean vacation. Through multiple timelines, the series explores all the traumatic ripples the mystery created for countless people. The series will star Alycia Debnam-Carey,...

Even if you’ve signed up for every streaming service out there, it can feel monumental when a title moves from one to another. In April, Netflix mainstay “New Girl” moves to Hulu; still streaming, but not where fans are used to finding it — like rearranging the furniture in your apartment and waking up surprised every day that the couch is over there now.
But what’s important is that “New Girl” lives on, now joining Hulu’s own TV and movie library and originals from Freeform, FX, National Geographic, and more. Later in the month, Leila Gerstein’s “Saint X” — based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin — premieres with three episodes, recounting the story of a young girl found dead during a family vacation and the sister piecing it together years later. Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Betsy Brandt, and Michael Park star.

The first trailer for Netflix’s upcoming animated adventure The Magician’s Elephant teases an enchanting adaptation of Newbery-winning author Kate Dicamillo’s 2009 novel.
In a nearly two-minute first look at the animated feature premiering globally on March 17 and helmed by first-time director and animation and vfx veteran Wendy Rogers (Puss in Boots, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian), the streamer promises an emotionally heartfelt and visually stunning coming-of-age fable about the desire to connect and belong, embracing possibility and the power of hope and compassion.
“The first time I watched the movie, I was struck by the sheer beauty of it — it is a gorgeous film visually,” Dicamillo says of the Rogers-helmed adaptation. “But also, there is a real, genuine heart to the film. It is deeply moving. That is the true magic of it.”

Jennette McCurdy revealed on the Season 2 premiere of her podcast, “Empty Inside,” why she’s done with acting.
“I resent my career in a lot of ways,” she said. “I feel so unfulfilled by the roles that I played and felt like it was the most just cheesy, embarrassing… I imagine there’s a very different experience to be had with acting if you’re proud of your roles.”
The former Nickelodeon star opened up on the Feb. 24 episode of “Empty Inside,” which featured guest Anna Faris. Their discussion spanned the inauthenticity of talk shows, rejection and early acting gigs.
Faris reflected on industry difficulties, but eventually concluded she was starting to feel the acting “itch” again. She asked if McCurdy has ever felt rewarded by a character she played.
“I’m so ashamed of the parts I’ve done in the past,” McCurdy said. “I get that this answer is super unlikable.

Robb was cast early on in the process and was able to shadow Witherspoon on-set, asking questions and talking to the writers along the way. “I would just copy her voice and watch her mannerisms and I listened to her book on tape to listen to her voice,” Robb says in an exclusive new interview with Gold Derby. “I’ve also been watching Reese my entire life; I feel like when I close my eyes I can see her.” Watch the video webchat above.

New York — Duncan Sheik is part of an unusual campaign on Kickstarter: Not to get his musical "American Psycho" up and running. It's to make it killer.
The Almeida Theatre in London has already agreed to mount the world stage premiere of Bret Easton Ellis' novel this winter but Sheik wants to give it a $150,000 infusion.
The Kickstarter campaign, which ends May 24, will go to fund things like more musicians, better sets and top-notch lights. As of Thursday morning, it had raised $78,830.
"This allows us to up the ante in terms of what the production is going to entail," the Grammy- and Tony-winning singer-songwriter said. "I think it's about being able to do things in the space that make for a really cool immersive theatrical experience."

It's only a matter of time before Hollywood execs cash in on the hugely passionate Dave Matthews Band fan base and greenlight a movie about the feel-good rock group.
Now that Boyd Tinsley is entering the movie business as producer of the indie "Faces in the Mirror," premiering Aug. 30 on SnagFilms.com, and the Dmb violinist has a few suggestions for who should play each member of the band.
"A young Tom Hanks would be a great Dave Matthews. That's the one that I could say definitively," Tinsley told us in an exclusive interview. "I hope Dave is flattered by that, and I hope Tom Hanks is too. I think they will be."

It’s a subject he’s returned to recently with 2007’s digitally shot double feature A Thousand Years Of Good Prayers and The Princess Of Nebraska, and in Snow Flower And The Secret Fan, he takes a step further, setting the film entirely in China. "AnnaSophia Robb inspires audiences"
Exclusive Interview by Michael Aaron Gallagher of StayFamous.Net
“‘Soul Surfer’ is a touching and inspirational film that reminds audiences of the power of family, faith and hope. Bethany Hamilton’s story is a true triumph of the human spirit.”– StayFamous.NetAnnaSophia Robb

At the age of 17, AnnaSophia Robb has already worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood – like Johnny Depp, Charlize Theron, and Hillary Swank – and she’s still only finishing up her junior year in high school. But for the Colorado native, there’s more to life than simply being a Hollywood movie star.
The award-winning actress who has built her career on solid performances in films like, “The Reaping” (2007), “Sleepwalking” (2008), “Because of Winn-Dixie” (2005), and “Bridge to Terabithia” (2007), is gradually taking on more mature dramatic roles and proving she has the power to make a difference both on-screen and off.

Zhang Ziyi, Wendi Murdoch and Florence Sloan produce the film which opens July 15th via Fox Searchlight Pictures. Although Hugh Jackman is in this film, I don't see him anywhere in the trailer. Inspired by the bestselling novel, the film is a timeless portrait of female friendship. In 19th-century China, seven year old girls Snow Flower and Lily are matched as laotong - or "old sames" - bound together for eternity. Isolated by their families, they furtively communicate by taking turns writing in a secret language, nu shu, between the folds of a white silk fan. In a parallel story in present day Shanghai,...

It was announced today by Hollywood Studios International that Chinese director Wayne Wang (of films like The Joy Luck Club, Anywhere But Here, Maid in Manhattan, Because of Winn-Dixie and Snow Flower and the Secret Fan previously) will direct a new Albert Einstein biopic from a screenplay written by Oscar winning screenwriter Ron Bass (of Rain Man, The Joy Luck Club, What Dreams May Come, Entrapment, My Best Friend's Wedding). Producers are considering shooting the film in Germany and various locations around Europe. The search for the lead actor to play Albert Einstein will commence in the coming weeks. The film, tentatively titled Einstein, tells the true inspirational story of the trials, tragedies and vindication of the single-most celebrated scientist of the 20th century. Torn between the burdens of a family and pursuit of unlocking the mysteries of the universe, he not only achieved unparalleled stature as a genius but...

Dave Matthews continues to make a name for himself as the leader of one of the most popular touring bands in the universe, but in the past few years he has spread his wings a bit as an actor. His roots go deep, as he worked a lot on stage before his band took off, and his film work continues to grow and evolve. Though some of his roles have been gimmicky, his roles in the film "Because of Winn-Dixie" and on the television show "House" were both complex and convincing. But a bunch of his credits come from Adam Sandler comedies (he...

"Because of Winn-Dixie" producers Joan Singleton and Ralph S. Singleton have acquired the film rights to Kathy Charles' novel "John Belushi Is Dead" reports Variety.
The story follows a pair of loners, Hilda and Benji, who comb the Los Angeles streets checking out the city's most notorious crime scenes involving celebrity death, murder or suicide including James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Tate and Belushi of course.
When Hilda befriends reclusive Echo Park tenant Hank, his downstairs neighbor hints that Hank has some terrible secrets to hide. The Singleton's will adapt the script and produce the film but no director or studio is yet attached.

The first thing you should know is that Kathy Charles' novel John Belushi is Dead is not about John Belushi. This story is about a pair of high school friends who spend their time visiting the scenes of celebrity deaths. Yeah, it's kind of morbid, but everyone's got to have a hobby. The book was optioned by producers Ralph Singleton and Joan Singleton.
Here's the description of the novel:
Pink-haired Hilda and oddball loner Benji are not your typical teenagers. Instead of going to parties or hanging out at the mall, they comb the city streets and suburban culs-de-sac of Los Angeles for sites of celebrity murder and suicide. Bound by their interest in the macabre, Hilda and Benji neglect their schoolwork and their social lives in favor of prowling the most notorious crime scenes in Hollywood history and collecting odd mementos of celebrity death.
